Founded in October 2014, Hope Haven was born from a dream to provide more than just shelter—it offers a path to independence. As a non-profit organization, Hope Haven is dedicated to empowering those in need to regain stability and independence in their lives. Through affordable housing, we enable Highlands County residents to save money and work toward securing a home of their own.

Partnering with local businesses, we connect our residents with job opportunities to help them achieve financial stability. Our job-readiness programs focus on resume building, interview skills, and job search support to empower residents to re-enter the workforce.

Hope Haven maintains specific eligibility requirements to ensure a supportive and goal-oriented environment. Residents must be employed, contribute a small fee, uphold cleanliness, remain drug- and alcohol-free, and adhere to a no-visitor policy.
